Podiatry

A podiatrist can assist people of all ages to maintain good foot health. Podiatrists provide assessment, diagnosis of foot conditions and address the factors that may be causing the foot problem.

Our podiatry services include:

  • Treatment of foot conditions such as skin and/or nail problems
  • Diabetes foot assessment and education
  • Paediatric foot assessment – unusual walking patterns, toe walking, knock knees
  • Biomechanical assessment – observe you walking and provide orthotics (shoe inserts) if required
  • Nail surgery
  • Wound care
  • Footwear and foot care advice

We have podiatrists who have special interests in both adult and children’s foot care. Priority is given to clients at high risk of foot problems, with special needs, low income and/or chronic health conditions.

We also provide low risk foot care services.

Our trained allied health assistants provide nail care to low risk clients.
