Supporting Children to Have A Better Life

Supporting children to have a better life

Children in Inner Eastern Melbourne, Outer Eastern Melbourne, Southern Melbourne, Inner Gippsland and Outer Gippsland will be supported to have a better life by Link Health and Community (Link HC), as the Partner in the Community (PITC) delivering Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) services for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Link HC is thrilled to expand its current NDIS ECEI services for children aged 0 to 6 years to now also include children, their families, friends and community in Southern Melbourne and Outer Gippsland.

Raff Ciccone, Link HC Board Chair said, “We will support local families to help children develop the skills they need to take part in daily activities and achieve their best possible outcomes.

“This is consistent with Link HC’s vision of ‘healthier people participating in their communities’ and we are excited about working in partnership with the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) to realise its mission of building a world-leading NDIS.”

As every child is different, support is family centred and tailored to each child’s individual needs and circumstances.

Philip Moran, Link HC CEO said, “We know that supporting children and their families with developmental delay or disability significantly improves their quality of life.  Our dedicated team of allied health professionals and early childhood educators is making a big difference to the families and communities that we serve.

“As one of the largest NDIS ECEI Partners in the Community we are committed to supporting children and empowering families to choose and achieve their goals in inclusive communities.”

Link HC’s partnership with the NDIA to deliver ECEI services extends to the following areas:

  • Inner Eastern Melbourne (LGAs of Monash, Whitehorse, Manningham and Boroondara)
  • Outer Eastern Melbourne (LGAs of Yarra Ranges, Maroondah and Knox)
